Blog HostingPlaces to Get A Free BlogFinding space for your free blog is simple. Here are some of my favorites spaces to create your own free blog. Remember that these sites offer blog space to any one, so all the other blogs may or may not be family friendly.1. Live Journal Free BlogLive Journal free blog space has free blog service and a fee based blog service. You get a lot of the same blogging features with the free service such as private posts and ability to ban other users. For a small fee you get custom mood these, your own subdomain (easier to remember address), and embedded polls and surveys for your blog.2. Greatest Journal Free BlogGreatest Journal free blog space is as the name says - great! You can create your blog and add pictures easily on your blog but the pictures are all public. You also get the ability to use 1000 different icons with the free blog service.3. Blogger.com Free Blog SpaceBlogger.com free blog space (A part of the Google company) is a popular place to post your thoughts in a blog. They have an extensive library of how-to blogging articles including how to use a third-party to post pictures.4. Xanga Free Blog SpaceXanga free blog space has a free blog account with many options. Your posts can be public, private or protected. The premium blog account offers image hosting, a premium editor and color palettes, no banner ads and custom skins.5. Easy Journal Free Blog SpaceEasy Journal free blog space offers a free account with an easy to remember address (http://yourname.easyjournal.com). You can make your entire blog only accessable with a passcode. One of the drawbacks with this free blog host is only one image can hosted.6. AOL's Hometown Free Blog SpaceIf you use AOL as your Internet provider, all you have to do is go and create your free blog. I don't have an AOL account so I wasn't able to try it out but AOL usually makes these things pretty simple for novices. It appears that you can add many images to your free blog which is included with your account.7. My Space Free Blog SpaceThis site not only offers space for a free blog but it also offers some photo hosting so you can spice up your blog with photos. One drawback of My Space is that the address of your blog is difficult to remember.More Sites for Kids and Families |
