Halloween Jack-0-Cakes Cupcake Recipe
Halloween Jack-O-Cakes Cupcakes

Halloween Jack-O-Cakes Ingredients
1 package of cake mix (preferably *devil's* food)
1 can of white frosting
1 can of chocolate frosting or a tube of brown decoratoring frosting
red and yellow food color

Halloween Jack-O-Cakes Directions:
Make cupcakes according to cake mix directions. Be sure to not overfill the cupcake tins so that the top of the cupcakes will not be too rounded.

Tint the white frosting to a deep orange color using the red and yellow food color. Use multiples of 2 drops red and 3 drops yellow until you get it to the orange color you want. I used 12 drops red and 18 drops yellow.

Frost the cupcakes with the orange color.

Mix the chocolate frosting so that it is creamy and then put into a decorator bag with a writing tip. Put eyes, nose and mouth of your pumpkin. Put a rectangle blob on the top to make the stem of the pumpkin.
